# ISP setup

> ISP dedicated IPs: categories, ports, UDP support, format

ISP IPs are dedicated for 30 days. The host is the IP itself: no gateway.

## Buying an ISP IP

Open the [dashboard ISP section](https://www.eclipseproxy.com/dashboard) → pick:

* **Country** (see dashboard for available options)
* **Proxy type / category** (see below)
* **Quantity**

At \$4.50 / IP / month, 30-day duration, no bandwidth limit.

## Categories

Pick at purchase based on your target.

| Category              | Optimized for                                               |
| --------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Sneakers & Retail** | Low-security sneaker sites and general retail               |
| **Premium Tickets** | Ticketmaster, AXS, and other ticketing platforms |
| **Retail Plus** | Enhanced retail proxies for PKC, Popmart, and premium sites |
| **Retail Advanced** | Advanced proxies for general retail and sneaker sites |
| **Social Media** | Clean IPs with zero fraud score for social platforms |

Each category targets a different IP quality profile. Social Media specifically is filtered for zero-fraud-score IPs.

## Ports

| Port    | Protocol     |
| ------- | ------------ |
| `61234` | HTTP / HTTPS |
| `62234` | SOCKS5       |
| `65535` | **UDP**      |

ISP is the only EclipseProxy product with **UDP** support.

## Format

Each ISP IP has its own host (the IP itself):

```
185.10.122.178:61234:user_abc123:k7x9mQpL2wRt
```

Or URL form:

```
http://user_abc123:k7x9mQpL2wRt@185.10.122.178:61234
```

No geo segments: the IP itself is the target. Username looks like `user_<hex>` and password is a short token.

## UDP usage

Use port `65535`. Useful for:

* Real-time apps that prefer UDP (gaming, VoIP, WebRTC)
* DNS over a proxy
* Custom UDP-based protocols

Most web/scraping use cases want HTTP/HTTPS or SOCKS5 instead.

## Authentication

User:pass only. No IP whitelist option on ISP.

## Sessions

ISP doesn't have rotating/sticky modes: the IP is dedicated. Same IP every request for the 30-day duration.

Country picked at purchase. State/city may be available depending on country.

## Renewal

ISP IPs expire after 30 days. Renew before expiration to keep the same IP. If you let it expire, the IP returns to the pool and may not be available when you re-buy.

## Things to watch for

* **"My ISP IP keeps changing"**, ISP IPs are dedicated. If yours is changing, you may actually have a Residential proxy configured. Check the host, ISP uses an IP address; Residential uses `core.eclipseproxy.com`.
* **"IP marked as hosting / datacenter"**: valid replacement case. See [Refunds & replacements](/getting-started/billing#replacement-policy).
